Hypocrisy

It's true -I'm a hypocrite.  The story of my hypocrisy is kinda long.  It starts back in September.

Back in September, my life was great.  I liked A, and he liked me.  We'd been happy together since March.  We'd gone to prom together, and I'd had the time of my life.  I loved the way he'd asked me to prom -- it was very creative, and awesome!

But, in August, I got called to Stake Youth Council.  One of the questions they ask is  "are you following the standards in For the Strength of Youth(FTSoY)."  I said that I was, but, because of A, I really wasn't -- FTSoY says not to have a steady boyfriend during high-school, and me and A were kinda together.

So, the day before I was set apart, I ended things with A.  I explained that because of my new calling, I had to follow the standards.  He was very understanding, but I felt bad.  We have a class together, and it was really hard to not hold hands with him, etc.  There was actually one time when I lost my resolve and did hold his hand after class.

At the same time, I had just switched into a new seminary class.  In it, there's this one really cute guy -- M.  Well, a couple of weeks ago, I found out that M likes me, and I like him.  So, we started holding hands, etc.  That would be fine, except I'm still on stake youth council.  So, now I feel like a hypocrite for ending things with A, and yet having a relationship with M, when circumstances are the same.  And, I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY don't want to end things with M.  So, now i'm stuck.  But, then again, that's My Crazy Life.  :)

  2. I always tell my friends that if it's meant to be, it'll happen when it's supposed to. But my advice for if you're stuck, you could do what a friend of mine did before he went on his mission. He was crazy about this girl but he would do an A-B-C rule, meaning if he wanted to go on a date with his crush, he'd still go on two other dates with two other girls. That way he was still able to like his lady while making good friendships all the same. Just a suggestion though. The number one you should do is PRAY ABOUT IT! :) Heavenly Father knows what's best for us :)
