Prom? and more

ello!  It's been a crazy day.  It started out pretty normal -- got up, got ready for school, practiced the piano, ate, left for school.  When I got to school, I remembered that it was co-curricular today, and I thus needed to be in Mrs. Macdonalds room for a student council meeting.  We started talking about the upcoming dance, "Snowflake Slam", and decided to make paper snowflakes.  Lol.  Mine were all epic failures.  I made one that looked like four blocks with rounded edges that had been meshed together.  Yeah.....I epically fail at all forms of art. :(

Oh well.  I still had fun, and enjoyed talking to Austin Eichelberger (Miniberger!!). He's the younger brother of a friend that I've had since freshman year. We had seminary together after the meeting...that's where things start to get interesting....

There are two people in that class, with whom I have interesting history.  First, is Stephen (Minibergers older brother).  The second is S (the other one) -- Sam Schwartz.  As for Stephen...hmm...I've liked him since Freshman year, but he currently has (had?) a girlfriend. As for Sam...well...today he told me that we weren't friends -- he was my "personal torturer" or something like that...lol...yeah....let's just say we have a love/hate relationship.  But, we are actually good friends.

So, before class started, I was talking to Sam, and Austin was talking to Stephen.  Suddenly, I overheard Austin say "So, you lied to her?"  My interest was immediately piqued.  I asked Stephen what was up...he said it was a 5 hour story.  As class started, I passed him a note asking for the details.  Well.....hmm...lets just say he's struggling to determine what he believes.   Sam noticed that I grew more and more distressed as Stephen and I passed the note back and forth...and so he passed me a note himself. lol.. =) We talked a bit; I managed to frustrate him, :); he informed me that he was coming to Skunkworks today.

After class.  He stole my bag.  He does that a lot.  Can't say I mind though...it's nice not having to carry my bag.  WE made an impromptu stop at my locker, I grabbed my lunch; he stuffed my bag in said locker, and we started towards Skunkworks.  On the way, he spotted the muffins that Mrs Taylor's been selling.  As he stopped to get one, I was seized by a random urge to ditch him.  I glanced back at him, then took off running towards Skunkworks.  Lol.  No sooner had I reached the hallway leading to it than I realized that it was closed due to a blood drive (incidentally...i can't donate blood.  :(  i'm too short/thin.  pout. ).  Plan foiled.  I started back toward Sam, informed him that Skunkworks was closed, and headed towards West Pod, intending to watch some of HP 1 in Noyce's Room.

No such luck.  Sam made me talk to him, and made me promise to make sure that Stephen was okay.  I said I would.  Somehow, talk turned to his birthday, which in turn led to talk about the C-Wood prom (it's on Sam's birthday).  I mentioned that I wished that I could go to prom -- I've never been to a C-Wood event, and wanted to at least go to one.  He asked if I wanted him to ask me.  I can't say I was too surprised -- he'd been talking about dragging me to a C-Wood function.  Still...he'd made it very clear that he didn't really want to go to Prom, due to it being on his birthday, and because he can't go with the person he really wants to. I reminded him of that...he said that he'd go if I really wanted to.  :) I said I did...he said he'd think of some creative way to ask me. I honestly don't care about that...I don't anything can beat the way Andrew asked me....but still.  Should be fun. =P

So...he wanted to know where my car was...probably going to do something to it when he asks... not sure whether or not i should be scared.  I showed him; on the way back, I told him my life story, something he'd been asking about earlier.  We ended up sitting in the hall outside Skunkworks...

So yeah...not much else of note after that.  Went to Dance, had fun; went to Chem -- oh oh oh.  Chem.  Yeah.  There's a person in there named Isaac.  He'll have seizures occasionally. He usually doesn't come the day after his seizures, but didn't feel like missing class.  So...lol.  He was Sooooo loopy.  he found this tiny magnetic ball, and started playing with it.  I tried to steal it from him; he got this silly look on his face, and said 'Mine".  lol.  lets just say that was one of the more interesting chemistry classes.  :)  Psych was pretty boring.

I then went to the lab...got to put formaldehyde on fruit fly embryos, use heptane and 100% methanol...it was great.  I'm preparing the embryos for antibody...something -- it'll help me to be able to see any phenotype better.

Yeah...what can I say?  Gotta love My Crazy Life!
